Why India?
India may be home to more spiritual traditions than any country other than the United States itself. Apart from the majority Hindu population, it has long-established communities of Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, Christians, and Jews. It is the home in exile of the Dalai Lama, as well as to spiritual masters and avatars from other mystical traditions. But what makes India unique is not so much its religious diversity as its long history as a center of the most intensive spiritual exploration, going back thousands of years to the ancient seers who wrote the Vedas, and the earliest practitioners of yoga and meditation. As much as the West has accomplished on the material plane, India has accomplished even more in the spiritual realm. I was quite taken by a comment an Indian gentleman made to me when I first visited India years ago. He said, "Oh, many people come to visit our country, because we have so many gods watching over us here." I can't imagine another country where such a statement would be so true. I have wanted to return to India ever since my first trip because there is so much to experience in that nation.
David Smith, my business partner, has already traveled to India to check out all the places and hotels where we will be staying in order to guarantee the quality of each step of the trip. David`s contacts in India who are coordinating the trip from their end have provided the itinerary. I hope you will consider joining me on this journey. Because the trip requires a substantial investment of time and money, we are dedicating a great deal of effort to insure that all of you will feel that it will not only be worth the cost, but, most of all will be beneficial to your spirit.
If you are intrigued by this prospect and would like you to join me on this incredible journey, please read the information below for a complete daily itinerary of the trip, as well as a detailed description of the cities we will be visiting.
Fondly,
Caroline
