The Application of Mystical Laws into Your Everyday Life
This workshop is about the discerning of mystical laws and learning how to apply them to our everyday lives. It is your entry into what it means to live within the field of mystical consciousness.
We live according to three sets of laws. Physical laws are constants—the laws governing gravity, time and space, cause and effect, and magnetic attraction never change. It is incomprehensible that they would ever not work. Societal and religious laws (against killing and stealing, for example) reside in the physical world and govern all humanity without our having any choice in the matter. Mystical laws operate with the same essential harmony and are also constant, but they are porous. They are not subject to time and space—to the ground rules of physical life—and they are not subject to the laws of nature. This is also a description of the world you live in, as incredible as that might be to consider.
Mystical laws such as the law of karma or “All is One” do not exist as independent rules that order the structure of our external life. Rather, they are the laws that influence our interior or spiritual life, like a parallel universe that contains all the same information, but lacks the influence of time, weight, space, and gravity. These laws are governed instead by the power of prayer.
How might it benefit you to know how these laws work in your daily life? As an example, consider a person who is on a job search. I’ve encountered many people these days who are looking for a new job or just want to increase the size of their professional practice. Most people approach the job market in an ordinary frame of mind. They draw up a resume and search for a job in familiar waters.
Now picture yourself on this job search but instead, shift to a different approach, where you imagine yourself with unlimited potential, beyond your resume. What if you were to redefine your interior image from the perspective of your soul and find yourself alert to a voice that asks, “What and who are you now called to serve?” Through prayer you begin to see your life as an abundant path of service. This begins the process of replacing your resume of job skills with one of human skills. In other words, you are shifting your center of power from your ego to your soul. Such a shift in your field of gravity can clarify for you the difference between a career and a true calling in life. This in turn invokes the laws of cause and effect and magnetic attraction which reshape your life with extraordinary force as you come to an inner realization of your true path of service, the work your soul has been longing to do.
You are born with a resonance to the realm of truth these laws embody. You don’t learn them so much as you awaken to them; you come into an awareness of them that you have always known was there. The truest meaning of the spiritual path is to come home to these truths, to awaken again to what is already within you: the knowledge of the mystical realm. On some level we know, for example, that a miracle, an instantaneous healing, is the direct intervention of a mystical law.
You may already know what a mystical experience feels like. It visits people in different ways. It is often described as a timeless interlude that simply takes you beyond the limitations of your five senses, giving you moments of heightened sensitivity, an overwhelming feeling of quietude and calm, a sense of oneness—with another person, with nature, or with God. It is an experiential occurrence, one that language alone cannot convey. It has been described as the difference between reading about motherhood and becoming a mother, holding your child in your arms for the first time—a piece of information transformed into a pulsating truth.
Knowing mystical laws is not enough. Studying them is not enough. What is most important is that you discover whether or not you can live at the altitude of the truth that they represent. This workshop looks at what defying gravity requires of you and how living in mystical consciousness according to mystical law would change your life. It examines what it takes to truly change the quality of your life, to redefine and understand your life’s purpose. The focus of mystical law is to help you realize that highest potential refers to a divine principle and not an ego one, to one that says “Can I give more?” not “Can I get more?”
