Hi Everyone,
It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you CMED's two new amazing products: The Calendar of Archetypal Influences and the Cosmic Window Appointment Calendar. These are both astrological calendars that are personalized based upon your own birth data. That is, instead of reading general astrological information in the calendar as you would in an ephemeris or magazine, the daily planetary data listed each day reflects your personal birth data. The Calendar of Archetypal Influences and the Cosmic Window accomplish this extraordinary feat by individualizing your archetypal influences over the course of a year. I can only imagine how many astrologers have thought about organizing a program of this magnitude but it took the skill and genius of Richard Tarnas (author of Cosmos and Psyche and Passion of the Western Mind) and Philip Levine, to finally make it happen. Let me recommend that you read Cosmos and Psyche, as a guide into the archetypal language of the cosmos. If you ever wanted to understand how it is that you as an individual could possibly hold a position of individual power in this universe or how it is that a distant planet could reflect the daily activities of your life, then this is the book you must read. Tarnas explains our interconnections with the cosmos so brilliantly, so precisely, and so elegantly that you almost could believe he interviewed the planets themselves.
The following paragraphs are written by Philip Levine, introducing their work to you directly. I wanted to offer my own comments because I know Richard Tarnas, and I often tell people that he is the only person to whom I have ever sent a fan letter. No kidding. While reading Cosmos and Psyche, I could hardly contain my enthusiasm. I ended up sending him fan emails...which is how we eventually ended up meeting each other. His scholarship is beyond comparison, as is his skill as a writer. And then there is his talent as an astrologer. Truly, I have to say Richard Tarnas is a master on all levels.
I know that everyone of you who sign on for either the Calendar of Archetypal Influences or the Cosmic Window Appointment Calendar will find them to be the most intriguing personal gift you could give yourself -- or give yourself both. The Calendar of Archetypal Influences, written by popular CMED Teacher/ Faculty Richard Tarnas, author of the acclaimed Cosmos and Psyche, offers a beautifully designed personal calendar to facilitate even greater insight into your archetypal cycles. It requires either a familiarity with astrological principles or access to a basic interpretative text (some are recommended in the Introduction), and the willingness to work with the rich material provided from Richard's many years of research, in order to develop a more mindful approach to living co-creatively with the elemental forces which move us and our world.
