The CMED Institute (Caroline Myss Education) was founded seven years ago in order to offer in-depth programs to individuals seeking answers to the significant questions about their life purpose and their path of service. At some point in every person's life, these questions will arise and it takes great courage to pursue them, because the answers inevitably change the course of your life. In particular, Caroline's study of what she calls our Sacred Contracts inspired the need for CMED. The quest to understand the archetypal agreements that direct the course of your life requires a commitment of time and steady work under the supervision of Caroline and the CMED faculty. Discovering your 12 archetypal or symbolic patterns represents nothing less than learn the genetic code of your soul. As you become skilled at interpreting your life through symbols, everything about you becomes transformed. Such an unveiling of power, however, requires the support of an Institute. The SACRED CONTRACTS program at CMED is unlike any other, as the individual learns to interpret and work with the many cosmic agreements that govern his or her life.
"CMED evolves as my work evolves," Caroline says of the process, "always nurturing the journey of the emerging human." Last year CMED introduced ENTERING THE CASTLE, a program more aligned to a mystery school/retreat than a seminar. Inspired by the work of St. Teresa of Avila, this mystery school/retreat leads people to begin the rich journey of soul illumination and to build the stamina of soul required to become a channel for healing grace in this world. Many people today are being called to live as "mystics without monasteries," to serve others in this world through learning the path of the classic mystics as described in the writings of St. Teresa.
In order to support these magnificent programs, the CMED Institute has gathered together a brilliant faculty of renowned guest scholars and full- time staff. Our philosophy is that participants are guests to be cared for with as much loving, focused attention as possible from the moment they arrive to the moment they depart. We are proud to announce that CMED courses are academically accredited through HUGS University in Springfield, MO. Further, we encourage our SACRED CONTRACTS graduates to pursue the profession of "archetype consultant."
