As a child, Cyndie admired the wise old woman in the movies, the one who with just a raised eyebrow or nod of the head conveyed a lifetime of wisdom. A life-long commitment to understanding life led to a quarter century exploration of the mind/body/spirit connection. The thread that captured and held Cyndie’s interest was physical health as a reflection of mental and emotional health. To support her nursing career in an evolution towards an avenue through which to share garnered insights, she spent 2 years participating in a certification course in Sacred Contracts with international bestselling author Caroline Myss. A perpetual student in the University of Life, the exploration of personality archetypes through Sacred Contracts has provided Cyndie a rich text through which to share an ever-evolving understanding of the framework of life.
Archetypal consultation and classes are based on the concept that each of us carries within our characters an assortment of archetypal personalities that make up the whole of who we are. It is through these archetypes that we are engaged in relationships (contracts) and events that constitute our experiences. Using the houses of the zodiac as a frame of reference, consultation enables the client to better understand in what areas basic personality archetypes are being engaged to create the challenges and rewards that constitute life. Through that understanding comes a growing recognition that our conscious and unconscious choices in life are the true creators of our experience. Over time, we learn to make conscious choices that contribute to creating (manifesting) a life rich in the rewards and satisfaction that we all deserve.
A vital adjunct to this course work is Cyndie’s 25-year exploration of dream interpretation. Archetypal consultation is a conscious pursuit of understanding. The gift of dreams that we receive every night provides an essential link to the unconscious, providing insight into arenas that the conscious mind is sometimes reluctant to explore.
It is imperative for each of us to develop those avenues that enable us to find our own answers from within. Thus, Cyndie’s objective is not to provide the client with answers, but to give them the tools through which to find their own. Through symbolic language, the exploration of dreams and personality archetypes provides keys by which to discover that inner voice and unlock the chest wherein lies the treasure that resides within each of us. The Seeker, the Guide and The Storyteller are but a few of the personality archetypes through which Cyndie acts to bring this language to others.
Cyndie offers private archetypal and dream consultations by appointment. In addition, she offers archetype and dream interpretation classes and is available as a consultant to on-going dream study groups. She is available as a guest speaker at conventions and offers 15-20 minute complimentary introductory talks on archetypes and/or dreams to civic groups, clubs and service organizations.
