Drawing from a lifetime rich in experience and wisdom, Kim Illig offers a unique blend of healing for her clients. She brings together her most current training as a Certified Intuitive Counselor with her past trainings as a Hellerwork Practitioner and as a nurse to bring a unique educational and healing experience to a wide variety of individuals and groups.

Since she was 10 years old and wrote her first report on the human circulatory system, Kim has remained fascinated by the workings of the human systems. In 1975, she became a nurse and worked in a busy orthopedic clinic where she learned extensively about how the body moves and heals. In 1980, Kim took time off from her profession to focus on her new job as a mother.

In 1986, more interested than ever in body healing, Kim was introduced to the bodywork modality of Hellerwork. It was working within this discipline that allowed her to integrate structural bodywork, movement education, and self-awareness dialogue; all keys to living to your full potential.

In 1999 her passionate interest focused on the Intuitive System. Realizing the validity of the unseen world, she studied many years with Caroline Myss and Norm Shealy about how to encourage people’s healing journey by making their personal energy management a high priority.

She understands that the body was designed to move fluidly, to have stamina and strength, and to be a pleasure to live in. Yet, for so many people, pain, physical deterioration, emotional suffering, and problems associated with aging exist. Also, beliefs that are unconscious and that have out lived their usefulness can contribute to a person’s discomfort; physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Kim’s desire and commitment is ‘to invite people to live from their passion’ and she strives to ’empower people to be impassioned with their work and with their healing.’ She draws from teachings by healers and teachers such as Caroline Myss, Norm Shealy, Angeles Arrien, Starhawk, Christiane Northrup, and Carolyn Conger and Karla McLaren.
