Martha Lyle
Martha was born in Monongahela, Pennsylvania and graduated from high school in Franklin Lakes New Jersey. She received a B.A. in Theater and Speech Pathology from Montclair University. This was followed by a M.A. in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. followed from the University of Florida in Speech.
She began her career at the University of Mississippi Medical Center as Director of Audiology and an instructor in the Department of Surgery. She then worked as an audiologist at the Polyclinic Hospital in Harrisburg, Pa. She supervised the Audiology Clinic at the VA Hospital in Gainesville, FL while completing her doctoral studies. Upon graduation she worked for a private ENT group followed by Director of Audiology for the Easter Seals Clinic in Orlando, FL. She then became Senior Audiologist at Children’s Hospital in Boston, as well as an instructor in the continuing education department at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Professor at Emerson College. She then returned to Orlando to become a Speech Pathologist for the Seminole County Public Schools.
During the past ten years, Martha has studied alternative healing systems and is a level two Reiki master. She has completed the Sacred Contracts course with Carolyn Myss and is a certified Archetype Consultant. She develops client’s charts, assists in answering questions that a client might have and teaches a basic course on Sacred Contracts through the adult education program in Orlando, FL.
In her spare time, Martha teaches ballroom dancing, travels and is a seeker of information on a variety of subjects. To contact her, call 407-679-8274
