Sharon Duttweiler-Esser
Sharon has been in the medical profession for 40 years. First as an RN, then advanced to be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, which she continues to practice today.
After approximately four years, Sharon become aware of the limitations of Western medicine and pursued her interests in other healing modalities. As part of this endeavor, Sharon studied massage therapy and became a Licensed Massage Therapist, which she practiced for ten years. It was during those years that Sharon became more aware of the need to heal ourselves on all levels, our body, mind, emotions and the spiritual aspect of ourselves.
Sharon’s desire to explore the aspects of energy medicine led her to study Healing Touch, energy healing with Rev. Rosalyn Bruyere, Shamanism with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and dream interpretation. In 1998 Sharon began studying the works of the world renowned author and Medical Intuitive, Carolyn Myss, a pioneer in the field of energy medicine and human consciousness. Sharon has also studied the works of Norman Shealy, M. D., a Harvard trained neurosurgeon and founder of the American Holistic Medical Association, who has helped define the impact of stress and emotion on the formation of disease.
Additionally, Sharon has studied with Lench Archuleta, a Yaqui Indian, with Windspirit Teachings in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona and also with Jim Curtan. Jim is a spiritual director and motivational speaker and a faculty member of the Carolyn Myss Educational Institute in the study of Archetypes. Sharon has also hosted very well attended workshops with both Lench and Jim at her home in Ohio.
Animals have also been great teachers to Sharon. She has owned,shown, judged and bred Arabian, Half-Arabian, and Dutch Harness horses since1990. Horses have taught Sharon how to listen and feel energy and how our energy affects others. She has studied the works of the animal behavior and communication specialists, world renowned Linda Tellington-Jones and Penelope Smith.
In 2005, Sharon graduated from the CMED Institute (Carolyn Myss Educational Institute) in Chicago. Her studies included Sacred Contracts and Entering the Castle. Sharon is now practicing as a Certified Archetypal Reader and Consultant and is presently taking appointments (see contact information above).
Her most recent studies have been with Dr. Mona Lisa Schulz in Medical Intuition, Healing Certificate Level 1 with Four Winds Academy and she graduated with a three year certificate in astrology with Midwest School of Astrology in 2014.
