Love is Everything

Hi Everybody.

I’m here with my dear friend Andrew Harvey to speak about his brand new book “Love Is Everything – A Year with Hadewijch of Antwerp.” Now, I know that you’ve never heard of Hadewijch of Antwerp, because I never heard of her before Andrew gave me the manuscript from this wonderful book. And while he was writing it, he was telling me endlessly about how wonderful this mystic was and is.

And when I finally read the manuscript, I was over the moon. I thought it was one of the most beautiful, beautiful bodies of work I had ever, ever read. Hadewijch’s writings are breathtaking. They are like depth charges in the soul. The woman can write. I am in awe of this magnificent book and so grateful to Andrew for bringing Hadewijch of Antwerp’s writings into the world again.
