For over thirty years Gloria has dedicated herself to helping patients through her work as a registered nurse, nurse manager and director of rehabilitation working in mental hospitals, educational systems and correctional facilities in the field of mental health.
In 1991 she decided to take the holistic approach to healing and began studying the energy-based approach to healing in the form of Healing Touch.
Aromatherapy was added to her specialties when she studied with Jeanne Rose, a leading expert in the field. As an Aromatherapist, Gloria used workshops as well as one-on-one counseling to help her clients achieve their goals through the healing process. She also offered classes at Xavier University, University of Cincinnati, Raymond Walters College, Cincinnati School District and Ohio Department of Corrections and various women’s groups.
In 2004 Gloria completed the 2 year course of study under the expert direction and guidance of Dr. Caroline Myss and became a Professional Sacred Contract Consultant. She has found this work so influential in her own spiritual growth and development that she has decided to dedicate herself to helping people improve their lives.
Since completing the program with Caroline Myss Gloria has gone on to become a Certified Transpersonal Hypnotherapist and Wellness Coach. It is through the process of Coaching that Gloria uses her unique approach to healing, to empower others to help themselves in a self-discovery process for personal and spiritual development that can assist in the workplace, in relationships and in leading richer and healthier lives.
At this time Gloria is also studying Art and Healing through Wisdom University and plans to incorporate Creative Expression as a healing modality. She created Joie de Vivre Wellness Coaching LLC which focuses on stress reduction and finding the joy in your life.
Gloria has offered workshops on Archetypes at the University of Cincinnati and Summit Behavioral Healthcare. She also participated in a live discussion for women on WVXU public radio titled, “The Feminine Face of God.
