Greetings:

I have worked as an addictions counselor and criminal justice specialist for over 20 years. I realize that life is a series of ups and downs and none of us are immune. I have always believed that spirituality is fundamental to our overall wellness which has been reinforced through the many classes I have had the privilege of participating in with Carolyn and all of the CMED staff.

Whenever we are faced with a challenge we are always hit first on a spiritual level. For some this is a hit that goes completely unnoticed and for others it becomes somewhat clouded in rationality that allows for a rather quiet loss of spiritual awareness. The loss of our spiritual self opens the door to emotional issues which can begin small and eventually escalate if not put into a proper perspective. When emotional issues are allowed to go unchallenged they begin to affect us mentally and finally physically. And so the spiral goes – so how do we stop the cycle or begin to heal, as with all things, we begin at the beginning, with our spiritual selves.

Understanding ourselves through archetypes and sacred contracts is the best way to connect to our spiritual selves and begin to live an empowered, conscious life through our contracts.
