For centuries, the concept of knowing yourself has been an essential component in the work of many of the world’s greatest teachers, from Sophocles in Ancient Greece, to Peter Abelard in 12th century France, to Lakota leader Crazy Horse in 19th century Midwest, USA. The instructions ‘Know Thyself’ were inscribed in the temple of the god Apollo And even Shakespeare wrote, ‘To thine own self be true.’

What does it mean to really know yourself, to be true to yourself? How do you find out what really makes you tick?

One of the best ways to get to know yourself better is by working with archetypes. By looking at the patterned nature of your life (what always seems to be true, and what never seems to be true about you) and identifying the content of those patterns, you can discover which archeytpes are part of your nature and which aren’t. Are you a Teacher, an Athlete, a Princess, a Priest, a Father? Are you always caring and nurturing people as a Mother would? Perhaps health challenges or triumphs have stirred the Healer archetype within you? Each of us has 12 core archetypes in our nature, and I will work with you to help identify your archeytpes and teach you how to see yourself and the world around you symbolically.

Years of listening to people and offering guidance as a counselor have given him a rich understanding of the inner workings of people, an understanding that enhances and is enhanced by his work in recent years as an Archeytpal Consultant and an Astrologer.
