Spiritual Crises and the Power of Prayer

Many of the people I have met through the years who have shared their experience with depression and anxiety were in fact in the midst of spiritual crises, unable to recognize the nature of spiritual guidance. The characteristics of a spiritual crisis are nearly identical to that of clinical depression – except that the cause is a crisis of the soul. In this workshop, I will discuss how to identify spiritual crises – an epidemic of our age – and why prayer is so essential to navigating your way through a “dark night of the soul.”
