Understanding Your Own Power and Your Capacity to Influence Everything
The more I learn about human nature, the more I am in awe of the power of the human soul. What do we truly need to know to live a good life? What are the truths we should seek to understand that would make the difference between pain and suffering in our life? We cannot escape the pain that comes with life. We will all experience the separation that comes from the death of people we love, and the traumas that are naturally woven into the business of being alive. That is the nature of life. But suffering and inner anguish are often optional – not always, but often. How do we recognize a wise choice from a foolish one?
The great spiritual masters teach the great truths in their own way. And much of their teachings can be summed up by saying that they came to share grace and guidance to simplify our lives. In keeping with the nature of divine paradox, “simplified” does not mean that it was their intention to draw us away from the physical world. Rather by understanding the wisdom and spiritual strategies of their instructions, life in the physical world becomes far more humane and unthreatening. Their goal was to release us from the madness of being driven by the fear of survival to awakening to the power of the laws of nature and the co-creative power of the human soul. In a perfect world, connecting that one dot – just that one dot – would be enough to redirect the future of humanity on a positive course in the blink of an eye.
I feel a deep calling to teach people about this inner power, because every choice we make carries profound creative consequences. We are remarkable agents of creation. With that in mind, the itinerary for this workshop is focused on helping you to genuinely understand that every choice you make in life sets profound, creative consequences in motion. And that power comes directly from your soul. This workshop will include the following topics:
- the wisdom of the great philosophers and the ancient mystery schools
- the mystical teachings of Christianity, Buddhism, Taoism and Sufism
- the laws of healing
- how to live in harmony with nature
- defining happiness for yourself
- recognizing illusions in your life
- evaluating the quality of life choices
- identifying personal values
- living in right relationship
- the value of integrity, commitment, and endurance
