Today I am talking with Dr. Monica Sharma. Over the last month, I have had the pleasure, the honor, and the privilege of getting to know this marvelous woman.
Monica is a physician and epidemiologist who worked for the United Nations from 1988 to 2010. As director of Leadership and Capacity Development at the United Nations, and UNICEF, Monica designed programs at scale for whole systems transformation and leadership development world-wide. She also continues her work as an international practitioner and expert on leadership development and sustainable change with the UN, many universities, various businesses, and governments around the world.
Monica is the author of the award-winning book, “Radical Transformational Leadership,” sharing her vision of how we can source our inner capacities and wisdom as individuals, groups and nations to manifest change that embodies dignity and compassion. She has brought her vision to millions of people, initiating positive change around the world. And, now we have the honor and privilege to present her ground-breaking teachings in a six-part class designed to inspire each of us to experience the power of becoming a game-changer in our life.
During our talk, we discuss her upcoming class “Becoming a Game Changer” and touch on the following topics:
- The importance of connecting personal values and beliefs to one’s work
- How small acts of kindness and empowerment can have a significant impact
- The role of personal power in realizing one’s full potential
- The value of understanding oneself as an active agent for change, capable of influencing global thinking.
“Becoming a Game Changer” is an incredibly well thought out, carefully-crafted course, from someone who has evolved her message of empowerment by actually being in the world and working to empower nations, and individuals and causes. And I cannot tell you what a privilege it is to have her here.
P.S. “Becoming a Game Changer” starts Tuesday, April 4.
