We are always struggling with power – and why is that? Because we are constantly living in the illusion between how powerful the outside world appears and how powerless we often feel, especially when it comes to our own survival. Life is this continual tug-of-war between events happening around us and their impact upon us.
We still hold on to the belief that if we do everything right, bad things should not happen to us. You can probably tell that I am about to dismantle this way of thinking with a ruthless pen (or computer), but rest assured it’s for your own good. And if you get through that part, you’ll like the ending.
Adapting to the power of your Light requires – actually demands – that once you make a commitment to a path that you believe will empower you, under no circumstances do you break that commitment.
It’s a give-and-take world we live in. But adapting to negativity within us or in our environment means deciding we can live with something negative rather than take action to initiate a positive change. Each time we adapt to something negative within us or around us, we pay a price.
The longest battle we will ever wage is with ourselves. We will never stop finding something in ourselves or about our lives that needs attention or is worth challenging. And sometimes we have no choice but to confront ourselves. Sometimes, as in the case of a serious health diagnosis, it literally is a matter of life or death.

I wanted to take a few moments and share my enthusiasm for my new Reflections series.
How’s that for a powerful question? But that wasn’t just a question for me recently; it was the task at hand.
Discovering a ‘desert of the heart’ is, however, a well-timed spiritual experience – an opportunity to reflect upon the quality of the choices you are making in your life. It is a gift, a chance to rid yourself of something that is causing you and others pain.
Please enjoy this excerpt from Caroline’s workshop recorded in Sedona, 2018. We are remarkable agents of creation. Every choice you make in life sets profound, creative consequences in motion. And that power comes directly from your soul.
